Along with the Honor 70 5G smartphone, Honor introduced the Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro+ models today. The difference between them is in the SoC: the Pro version uses the single-chip system Dimensity 8000, and Pro + – Dimensity 9000. Therefore, the performance of the Honor 70 Pro + bypasses most Android flagships, including the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. During the presentation, new products were actively compared with the iPhone 13, of course, not in favor of Apple smartphones.

The emphasis in innovations is in the cameras. Thus, the resolution embedded in the front screen became 50 MP. The screen itself is characterized by a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a frame rate of 120 Hz. Fingerprint scanner – bottom screen.

The main camera system is the same on these models. The main sensor is the new Sony IMX800 with a resolution of 54 MP. Optical format – 1 / 1.49 inches, so it’s big for the niche of mid-range smartphones that includes the Honor 70. There is also a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom (this module has optical image stabilization). Honor Image Engine is responsible for processing photos and videos, including HDR mode.

The new products run Android 12 with the Magic UI 6.1 interface. Interestingly, during the presentation, Honor did not reveal the capacity of the Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro+ batteries, noting that they support 100-watt charging and charge 50% in half an hour.
