In the high-end smartphone market, which has become increasingly heated in recent years, companies are introducing new products one after another. Xiaomi, one of these companies, launched its flagship 14 Ultra in China. The most striking point of the smartphone was its ability to take photos.
The collaboration between Leica and Xiaomi continues.

The smartphone, which is expected to be launched in May, has four cameras on the front and one on the back. The photo capacity of the device is so high that it is quite possible that you will feel as if your smartphone does not have a camera, but your camera phone does. The main camera uses LYT 900 and the other three cameras use IMX 858 sensors. The smartphone can take photos at 150 frames per second and enhances photo quality with the help of artificial intelligence.
The camera system, which ensures very smooth switching between lenses, makes it possible to shoot up to 4K 120 FPS. The smartphone also has 8K 24 FPS support. There is also a microphone system that provides 360 degree sound recording for these videos.
In terms of connectivity, the device also has Wi-Fi 7, the new generation of Wi-Fi technology. The phone’s processor was announced as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and that was no surprise. The 5,300mAh battery was announced to be silicon-carbon based, but the phone may launch with a different battery on the global market. This battery replacement creates more space for the sensors. Moreover, the phone’s additional camera housing also features a Type-C attached battery. The device has 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging.
