Along with the launch of Honor Magic V2 RSR, the brand also introduced Magic6 Pro to world shores. It was the world’s first smartphone with a 180 MP periscope camera. The smartphone was launched in China last month, so the global version also has the same features. Honor Magic6 Pro is a flagship with many outstanding features.

Honor Magic 6Pro debuted internationally

Starting from the design, the Honor Magic6 Pro has a flat frame and a round camera module. It is protected against water and dust according to IP68 standard. The device has a built-in fingerprint scanner. The screen has a NanoCrystal Shield that is claimed to be 10 times more resistant to drops.

Honor Magic6 Pro features a 6.80-inch curved AMOLED display with a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera. Honor calls the cutout Magic Capsule and has an Apple-like Dynamic Island feature. It offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. The device has Dolby Vision and HDR Vision certificates. Additionally, the smartphone features 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, dynamic dimming, circadian night display and more.

In the photography department, Honor Magic6 Pro has a flagship triple camera system. The setup consists of a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 122-degree field of view. Primary 1/1.3-inch 50MP Ultra HD sensor with f/1.4 to f/2.0 auto aperture. It also supports OIS. Finally, the phone features a large 1/1.49 inch 180 MP periscope lens, making it a first in global markets. It has an f/2.6 aperture, supports OIS, 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. There are also various artificial intelligence-based features that will attract the attention of photography enthusiasts.

In terms of performance, Honor Magic6 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Honor C1+ has RF chip to improve communication and Honor S1 separate security chip to protect privacy. The smartphone is equipped with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB memory. It is powered by a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery with wired and 66W wireless charging support. Magic 6 Pro comes out of the box with MagicOS 8.0.

Honor Magic6 Pro is available in Glacier White, Lake Blue, Epi Green, Cloud Purple and Black color options. The price is 1299 euros. Pre-orders for the phone start today and are available starting March 1. Magic 6 Pro RSR will also be announced next month in collaboration with Porsche Design.
