The full Meizu 21 Pro will be launched in China on February 29. The company is looking to focus on artificial intelligence in the future, suggesting that the 21 Pro could be its last flagship phone. Let’s take a look at the details of the device that have emerged so far.

Key features of Meizu 21 Pro

Meizu has officially confirmed that the Meizu 21 Pro will feature a 6.79-inch display with an in-display mTouch Max ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The 21 Pro has an aspect ratio that’s comfortable enough for one-handed use. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor will have a larger scanning area, which will help unlock faster.

According to a new Digital Chat Station leak, Meizu 21 Pro’s AMOLED LTPO panel will offer 2K resolution. The screen is also likely to support 120Hz refresh rate.

Meizu 21 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB RAM under the hood. The prompt said nothing about storing the device. The top model Meizu 21 offers 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The Pro version is likely to accommodate up to 1TB of memory.

DCS said the Meizu 21 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OV50H OmniVision camera sensor. It will be combined with a telephoto camera. The leaker also said that the engineering prototype of the 21 Pro has a periscope camera. Since most other competing flagship phones have a periscopic zoom unit, it looks like the latest device will also have this feature. Other leaks claim that the device will have a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
