Realme has already introduced two devices in the Realme 12 series; another is the Realme 12+ 5G, which will be launched on March 6. There is also news of Realme 12, another device that recently surfaced on the Geekbench platform.
The smartphone was spotted on the benchmarking platform with model number RMX3999. The Geekbench 6 listing of the Realme 12 5G suggests that it will most likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.
The processor has an eight-core configuration consisting of two high-performance cores clocked at 2.20 GHz and six efficient cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. These specifications correspond to the specifications of the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset along with the integrated Mali G57 GPU.
In addition, the phone will be equipped with 8 GB RAM and the latest operating system Android 14. Test results show that the device scored 738 points in the single-core test and 1935 points in the multi-core test.
Realme 12 5G was previously certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM, confirming its marketing name. TUV certification suggests a 4,880 mAh battery, and its appearance on the US FCC website shows features such as 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity.
Additionally, sources suggest that the Realme 12 5G will feature a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display that supports FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for clear and smooth images. For security reasons, the phone is equipped with a side fingerprint sensor.
Earlier today, Realme 12 5G was also certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). So, India launch is very likely in the coming days. The device will be tagged alongside Realme 12+ 5G when it launches on March 6.
