Vivo V30 Pro is now officially launching in Indonesia as planned. It is accompanied by Vivo V30. The two phones are customized variants of the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro from China.

The V30 Pro is Vivo’s first smartphone outside the X series to feature Zeiss optics. It has a 50MP triple camera combined with a regular flashlight and soft light. The device is powered by a less powerful MediaTek chip compared to the S18 Pro. But it retains most of the other features.

Features of Vivo V30 Pro

Vivo V30 Pro is a thin and light smartphone, just like its predecessor. Measuring just 7.45mm thick and weighing 188 grams, the phone is built around a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a central punch-hole. The panel has a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels (1.5K), 452 PPI, 120 Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth.

The screen supports up to 2800 nits local brightness level, 1200 nits global brightness level, 300 Hz touch sampling rate and 2160 Hz PWM dimming. There is also a fingerprint sensor underneath. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC processor. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.

The Zeiss-tuned triple camera system on the back consists of a 50 MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle unit with autofocus, and a 50 MP 2x telephoto. On the front, there is a 50 megapixel camera with autofocus.

Connectivity options on the phone include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC and USB 2.0. Finally, it has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging.

Vivo V30 Price

Vivo V30 Pro costs Rp. 8,999,000 (~$570) for the single 12GB+512GB storage model. It comes in Equatorial Green and Volcanic Black. The product is currently available for pre-order in the country. Its launch in India is planned for March 7.
