X10D is a standalone version of Skydio’s X10 platform with advanced artificial intelligence. It features a new dynamic channel switching feature that helps operators monitor for signal interference and switch to a cleaner channel to improve wireless data quality in flight.
The new Skydio drone is equipped with integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance functions, allowing public safety authorities, for example, to obtain situational information using the best human-machine interaction capabilities.

Key feature An array of NightSense sensors providing AI autonomy at night. Skydio X10D uses both visible and infrared light to avoid obstacles and understand its surroundings. This allows the drone to operate 24/7 and autonomously avoid obstacles even in zero light conditions.

Dynamic channel switching is also notable as it allows the X10D to offer: Adaptive communication between drone and remote control, even in crowded airspace or electronic warfare conditions. Skydio says it will soon offer dynamic channel switching to customers already using X10.
Another interesting feature of this machine is the ability to create virtual “3D models” of space and objects in real time. The drone explores everything it sees around it, creates a layout, uses the Crosshair Coordinates function to identify points of interest, and then one can examine it all in detail from every aspect.

The arrival of X10D customers is truly a turning point for Skydio and the allied defense and government community. There is no doubt that in future conflicts the advantage will be in favor of decentralized implementation of small, multifunctional and flexible systems, rather than large and complex systems with fewer channels. With dynamic channel switching, built-in artificial intelligence and autonomy, the X10D is a force multiplier that helps warfighters see the invisible, increasing awareness, accuracy and safety. says Mark Valentine, president of Skydio.
Last year, Skydio stopped producing drones for entertainment and hobby purposes. But it is still considered the largest drone manufacturer in the United States, providing solutions to more than 1,900 companies and government agencies. The company recently increased its production capacity by 10 times to meet growing demand in both the commercial and public sectors.
