We reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 yesterday. Now images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 have appeared online. These were shared by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka Onleaks). The images give us a good look at the device and it does not come with any major cosmetic changes. The sixth generation foldable device is expected to be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the second half of this year.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will retain the same design as its predecessor. Leaked images show the device in mint and lavender colours. It has a flat frame and has Samsung branding on the hinge at the back. On the right side, there is a fingerprint scanner and a power button that can also be used as a volume rocker. There is a SIM card tray on the left edge. There are four band antennas on each side.
The renders show two cutouts for the microphone, at the top and bottom. The latter also has a USB-C port and a speaker grill. The dimensions of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 are 165.0×71.7×7.4 mm. The report also states that there are minor changes in the length and width of the device. The depth has been increased from 6.9mm to 7.4mm, indicating a larger battery size. The foldable phone also appears to have a tall form factor and a 6.7-inch main display with a hole in the middle.
As for the back panel, Samsung keeps the same design. Dual camera sensors and LED flash maintain their position in the upper left corner. Z Flip 6 also has a folder icon-shaped cover screen, which is said to be 3.4 inches in size.
