We already know that Vivo is working on next-generation high-end foldable smartphones. Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro were already part of the recent rumors and now the latest leak reveals more details about their camera systems. Here are all the details.

Vivo X Fold 3 camera

The news comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster who shared the information on Weibo (Chinese microblogging site). In an online report, the writer claimed that the Vivo X Fold 3 will feature a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OmniVision OV50H sensor. It works with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical and up to 40x digital zoom.

Digital Chat Station added that this model will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The leaker also shared the camera system on the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, although he had already shared these features in a previous leak. Vivo’s top model offers a 50-megapixel main camera OV50H, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera OV64B. The Pro version is said to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

From what we know so far, the Vivo X Fold 3 series is expected to be released alongside the Vivo Pad 3 series at the end of this month. Recently, the design of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was revealed through leaked schematics. Another important feature expected in future foldable phones is the possibility of integration with Mac systems.
