iQOO is all set to launch the new iQOO Z9 in the Indian market. The smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled soon but ahead of the official announcement, new teasers have confirmed some of the display specifications of the upcoming mid-range phone.

Looking at the official poster images, iQOO Z9 will have an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this panel can produce a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits, a touch sampling rate of 1200 Hz, and supports gesture control. In our last report, we highlighted live images of the device that revealed a centre-aligned cutout for the selfie camera hole.

Based on what we know so far, the iQOO Z9 will launch in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, making it the fastest phone in the segment. However, the brand made this statement in the previous teaser. Thanks to this chip, the smartphone received more than 730,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. It has also been confirmed that there is a large 5000mAh battery under the hood that will power this device.

Meanwhile, the rear panel houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX882 sensor and supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Other notable details about the device include dual stereo speakers, 7.89 mm thin design and two color options (Brushed Green and Graphene Blue). iQOO Z9 is scheduled to be released on March 12, 2024, so stay tuned for updates.
