Samsung is rolling out the Android 14 update for the Galaxy A52 in Asia and Europe. The latest system update for the smartphone also brings One UI 6.0. This is the last major software update for this device. In the future, the product will only receive security patches.

Although the update was released in March, it contains security patches that are outdated as of January 2024. It weighs approximately 1.2 GB in Europe, but its size may vary in other regions. The update is expected to be available in other countries in the coming days.

For those who don’t know, Galaxy A52 was launched with Android 11 in March 2021. It was updated to Android 12 in the same year, then to Android 13 in 2022.

So, Android 14 is the third and final Android update as the phone is only eligible for three generations of OS updates. In any case, it will receive security updates for another year.

Galaxy A52 is the last phone of the Galaxy A5x series to support 4G. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip, 6.5 inch FHD + 90Hz Super AMOLED display, 64MP primary camera, 32MP selfie camera, IP67 rating, 4500mAh battery and 25W charging support.
