Moto G Power 5G appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 7020 processor

Motorola is preparing to potentially launch the Moto G Power 5G smartphone. Detailed images of the phone appeared last November, showing off its design from every angle. Now the upcoming device has appeared in the Geekbench listing.


According to the Geekbench listing, Moto G Power 5G (2024) will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset. For those who don’t know, this chipset is a rebranded version of the previous model, the Dimesnity 930 processor. G Force 5G (2023).

The chipset has two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz for demanding tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz for efficiency.

Moto G Power 5G 2024 Geekbench

In Geekbench tests, the smartphone received a respectable score of 679 in single-core performance and 2005 in multi-core performance. It comes with 8GB of RAM and comes with Android 14 pre-installed. Apart from this, the Geekbench listing does not offer any additional information about the device.

However, rumors suggest that it may have a 6.7-inch display with a central notch for the selfie camera. Motorola is expected to use an IPS LCD panel for the display, possibly offering 1200×1600 pixel HD resolution.

Official images show that Motorola will launch the device in Orchid Tint and Outer Space colours. The device is expected to measure 167.3×76.4×8.5 mm and have flat edges at the corners.

Additionally, G Power 5G (2024) can support 67W wired charging. Other specifications of the smartphone are currently kept secret. Rest assured, we will be sure to keep you informed about new updates regarding the device.
