Company Motorola’s is preparing to launch a new phone called Moto Edge 50 Pro. The same device is also planned to be released in China Moto X50 Ultra. After obtaining some regional certifications such as FCC, BIS and TRDA, we can safely say that we can expect a global launch soon.

However, before the launch, Android Headlines leaked images of this upcoming smartphone and some important details about its hardware.

Leaked images of the Moto Edge 50 Pro reveal that the brand will create a unibody body for the device. The edges appear to have a metallic curved surface and the screen is also curved. The smartphone offers three colors: purple, black and silver/white/stone. The back of the purple and black versions is textured, possibly looking like faux leather.

As for the specifications, the report states that the device will have a 6.7-inch curved display with a 165Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, the Edge 50 Pro will feature a triple rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.4 aperture, as well as a wide-angle and a telephoto lens with 6x zoom. This camera will have laser autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS).

Internally, the Edge 50 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor backed by 12GB of RAM. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Motorola unveiled the X50 Ultra’s AI capabilities in China, pointing to the integration of advanced AI features that have become standard in today’s flagship smartphones.
