Without much fanfare, Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy M15 5G smartphone in select markets, including the Iraq and Levant regions. While official pricing and availability details are still under wraps, the company has published the specifications of the phone on its official website, revealing everything there is to know about it. Let’s get into the details.

Features of Samsung Galaxy M15 5G

So, the Galaxy M15 5G is built around a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a brightness of 800 nits, which provides good visibility outdoors.

The design of the Galaxy M15 is similar to its predecessors. The back of the device has three camera rings and slightly rounded edges for a comfortable grip. Available in three colors – light blue, navy blue and grey.

In terms of performance, Samsung has not officially confirmed the processor, but it does mention the use of an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. Technical specifications correspond to the specifications of the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.

The processor is paired with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The latter can be expanded up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

Out of the box, the Galaxy M15 5G comes with the latest Android 14 operating system. Samsung also promises four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches.

The light will be powered by a powerful 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Notably, the Galaxy M15 5G retains the classic 3.5mm headphone jack and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

For photography, the Galaxy M15 5G has a triple rear camera system. This setup features a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Selfies and video calls are handled by the 13 MP front camera.
