Photos of Motorola’s next flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, have been “leaked” online. Images show several color options, including a version with a fabric-like pattern on the back.

According to the source Android Headlines, which published the photos, the new smartphone will probably be delivered in the US under the name Motorola Edge Plus (2024) and will be available in China as Motorola X50 Ultra. The aforementioned Edge 50 Pro name will probably be used in Europe and other countries.

A few days before the leak, the company released a teaser photo of the Motorola X50 Ultra that hinted at a leather-like rear panel, promising that the new product would target AI services. In the published photos, the smartphone is offered in three colors: purple, black and silver, with a textured coating similar to faux leather on the back panel.

On the back, there is a triple camera setup that is said to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, a 13mm wide-angle lens and a 73mm telephoto lens that will offer 3x optical zoom and 6-hybrid.

According to previous insider reports, Motorola Edge 50 Pro will have a 6.7-inch screen with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The innovation will be built on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor combined with 12 GB of RAM. The 4500 mAh battery will support 125 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. According to sources, the introduction of the new product in China will take place on April 3.
