Last year, OnePlus launched three Ace-branded smartphones in China. This year, the brand has already launched OnePlus Ace 3 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. According to reports, Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro phones will soon be released to the domestic market. Ace 3V is said to be launched soon as the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Today, the head of OnePlus in China announced the upcoming launch of Ace 3V.

OnePlus Ace 3V is coming soon

As seen above, OnePlus China President Lee Jie Louis said that the OnePlus Ace 3V will arrive soon but did not confirm the launch date. The teaser suggests that the AI-equipped Ace 3V will be announced this month.

Lui’s confirmation of the Ace 3V comes shortly after Qualcomm announced that it will introduce its next chipset in China on March 18. There are speculations that the American chipmaker will lift the lid on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 during the upcoming presentation. Ace 3V is expected to be released in the fourth week of March.

OnePlus Ace 3V specifications (rumours)

According to reports, OnePlus Ace 3V will have an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support on the back. The device will run Android 14 based on ColorOS 14. OnePlus Ace 3V is said to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, 16GB RAM, 512GB or 1TB storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging. Additionally, the 3V is said to come with other features like alert slider, in-display fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, and dual speakers. Rumor has it that a customized version of this will be launched globally under the OnePlus Nord 4 brand.
