Samsung recently renewed its two most important models in the middle class. We are talking about Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5GTwo models representing the entry of the A series, which share the same design and some features and stand out with their overall balance.

At the design level, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G bears significant similarities with last year’s model and the models of the Galaxy S family. The back of the device is covered with glass and the sides switch to aluminum. The visible antennas in the frame tell us something; hence the build quality is much better than last year.

Speaking of the edges, there is now a kind of island on them to make the transition between the buttons and the frame of the terminal a little more convenient.

The panel is getting larger, now 6.6 inches, but retaining Full HD+ resolution. We are faced with an AMOLED screen with a central hole on the device with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Although Samsung does not give details about the processor, we are reviewing the new Exynos 1480, which is an eight-core mid-range platform, according to GSMarena. Two of them are Cortex-A78 and the other four are A55. This information was leaked last year, so it is not yet known how the proposal will perform.

The battery is 5,000mAh, 25W fast charging, and the phone is up to date with 5G SA/NSA, dual Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

The camera is 50 megapixels, has optical stabilization and is accompanied by macro and ultra wide angle. As we told you, the macro slightly overshadows the camera package of a phone whose price is close to 500 euros.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is a terminal that shares some features with its older brother, but is far from it. The processor is slightly lower, an Exynos 1380 running the same cores as the 1480 but with a lower clock frequency. It starts at 6 + 128 GB instead of the 8 + 128 GB of its older brother, although in both cases the maximum configuration is 8 + 256 GB.

The screen is not the same. Although they share size, resolution and technology, their maximum brightness is 550 nits; This is a very low figure for a terminal of this size. Although the design is similar, it is not the same: both the back and the sides of this terminal are covered in plastic.

The model, whose battery is 5,000mAh and 25W, is the same as its older brother, and its main camera is 50 megapixels with OIS. Although the macro camera repeats slightly lower the resolution of the ultra wide angle and selfie.
