Features of Vivo Y03

Vivo Y03 is built around a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel features a teardrop-shaped notch, a typical feature among budget devices, that houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Going back to the design of the rear panel, the smartphone has two camera rings housing a 13MP primary lens and a QVGA lens. The LED flash is located next to the camera.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor under the hood. This is an octa-core chip released in 2020, but it is expected to offer good performance for everyday tasks.

The SoC is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The latter can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card, and the phone also has the Vivo Extended RAM feature that allows you to expand the RAM by almost 4GB.

The backlight is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging via the USB-C port. In terms of software, the entry-level phone runs on Android 14 FunTouch OS 14.

Other features of the device include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The device has dimensions of 163.78X75.73X8.39 mm and weighs approximately 185 grams. It is noteworthy that the device also has an IP54 dust and splash rating.

Price and availability

Vivo Y03 is priced at IDR 1,299,000 ($83) for the 4/64GB variant and IDR 1,499,000 ($97) for the 4/128GB variant. You can buy Vivo Y03 in green and black color options. Vivo is expected to launch this smartphone in other Asian markets soon.
