Infinix may launch its upcoming mid-range smartphone GT 20 Pro in India soon, as seen on the BIS certification website with model number X6871. As usual, the list does not reveal any hardware or software features of the phone, but it definitely hints at the arrival of the Infinix GT 20 Pro in India.
The smartphone with the same model number was also spotted on other certification sites such as SDPI, EEC, Wi-Fi Alliance and TUV. The TUV listing reveals that the device is powered by a 4,900mAh cell and Infinix has bumped this figure up to 5,000mAh.
The important details come from a recent Geekbench observation which reveals that the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
Its predecessor, the GT 10 Pro, is powered by the Dimensity 8050 SoC, so it’s a modest upgrade in terms of performance. The Geekbench platform also shows that the device will have 12 GB RAM. However, a version with 8GB RAM is also expected to arrive. There are rumors of a single 256GB model for storage.
Additionally, the smartphone was found to be running the latest version of Android 14. Infinix has launched the GT 10 Pro with Android, which has barely been released in India. Therefore, there is a possibility that GT 20 Pro can offer a similar experience in some markets. Apart from this, we do not have much information about the Infinix GT 20 Pro at the moment. We will notify you as soon as new information becomes available.
In related news, Infinix is all set to launch its Note 40 series smartphones on March 18. It is said that the smartphones will be powered by the Cheetah X1 chip developed by the company and will also come with 100W charging, the fastest among Infinix phones.
