Honor will launch the Magic 6 Ultimate smartphone in China today. On the eve of the official release, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station published the characteristics of the device on the network.

Technical specifications of Honor Magic 6 Ultimate

Honor Magic 6 Ultimate is said to feature a large 6.8-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels. The screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate and 4320Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye fatigue.

Additionally, the source suggests that the phone can achieve impressive peak brightness levels, potentially reaching 1,600 nits in standard usage and up to 5,000 nits for HDR content.

Coming to the front camera, the leak shows a 50MP sensor paired with a 3D ToF selfie sensor. The rear camera setup could be particularly impressive. It is said to have a 50MP primary sensor with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor size and variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.0).

It will be accompanied by a secondary 50 MP sensor and a powerful 180 MP telephoto sensor with 2.5x to 100x zoom capabilities. The tip also suggests that the camera system is expected to use a 1,200-inch dTOF (direct time of flight) sensor.

Additionally, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with 16GB of RAM. Storage options are said to include 512GB and 1TB variants.

It is said to have a 5,600mAh battery along with 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. The device is also expected to have IP68 dust and water protection and two-way satellite communication for emergency use. As for the design, the leak mentions simple black and purple color options. It is stated that the thickness of the device is 8.9 mm and its weight is 227 g.
