Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A55 smartphone and we can expect slightly modified, more affordable versions in the Galaxy M and F series soon. But Samsung is not stopping there, it is expanding its range with a new Galaxy C series phone. , Galaxy C55.

The Galaxy C series has not been in Samsung’s product range for seven years, but it looks like it will make a comeback with the Galaxy C55. The smartphone has now appeared in the Google Play Console listing and offers similar features to the Galaxy M55/F55. The phone will most likely not see a global launch and will be aimed at the Chinese market.

The Play Console listing reveals a few important details: The phone will have a Full HD (1080×2400 pixels) display with a screen density of 450 dots per inch, will run Android 14 and will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the Galaxy C55 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, the same chip that is said to power the Galaxy M55 and F55.

This mid-range chip was launched in 2022 and offers four Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and an Adreno 662 GPU. So this isn’t necessarily a performance-oriented SoC. It should handle daily tasks without any problems, but may struggle with demanding games.

Other than that, not many details about the Galaxy C55 have been revealed. However, the device has been included in the certifications for a while. Therefore, we expect its launch to take place very soon. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy M55 and Galaxy F55 smartphones for the global market soon.
