Tipster Digital Chat Station reveals key features iQOO Pad 2 (model number iPA2475) and should be released soon. This device will reportedly support 66W fast charging and be compatible with the UFCS fast charging protocol.
Specifically, UFCS is a next-generation fast charging protocol jointly developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and smartphone manufacturers such as Huawei, Vivo and Xiaomi.
The iQOO Pad 2 will reportedly have very similar specs to the alleged vivo Pad 3 Pro, which was previously spotted on Geekbench, with MediaTek’s most powerful chip to date, the Dimensity 9300. It was previously reported that Vivo Pad3 Pro will offer a 13.1-inch display. . Not to mention the 3.1K+ 144Hz LCD panel, 16GB RAM, 11500mAh and focus on performance.
Dimensity 9300 is MediaTek’s latest flagship processor, which was released last November. It is manufactured using TSMC’s 4 nanometer process and is equipped with 4 powerful Cortex-X4 cores, one of which reaches a clock frequency of 3.25 GHz and the other three reach a clock frequency of 2.85 GHz. In addition to the large cores, it includes 4 Cortex-A720 clocked at 2.0 GHz and a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU. This chip even supports second-generation MediaTek hardware ray tracing.
For reference, since May last year, the iQOO Pad has been equipped with a slightly smaller 12.1-inch 2.8K 144Hz display that supports 600 nits of peak brightness. It was also compatible with the pen and touch keyboard, although they were sold separately. This original iQOO Pad is powered by Dimensity 9000+ chip and is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB internal storage.
