Xiaomi produces MFi cables for charging and high-speed data transfer

Global technology giant Xiaomi added new options to its cable collection. The company recently introduced the Type-C to Lightning cable, Type-C dual cable, and Type-C dual high-speed 6A cable in China.


All cables are made from high-density polyester braided material to provide impressive resistance to stretching, breaking and bending. Each cable is 1 meter long.

Certified MFi Type-C Lightning cable

Xiaomi Type-C to Lightning data cable has official Apple MFi certification, ensuring full compatibility with iPhone and iPad devices. Equipped with a reversible Type-C interface, this cable supports USB 2.0 transfer protocol. It offers up to 20W charging power and comes in a standard 1 meter length. The price of this cable is RMB 79 (~$10).

Type-C double braided data cable

Xiaomi Type-C Double Braided Data Cable is designed for high-power charging. It supports the PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, allowing you to quickly charge a variety of devices including phones, tablets, and even laptops.

Like the Type-C to Lightning cable, this cable is compatible with the USB 2.0 transfer protocol. Dual Type-C interfaces allow reversible insertion and removal for added convenience. The cable costs 29 yuan (~$4).

Dual 6A Type-C high speed cable

Xiaomi’s most advanced cable in this release is the 6A Type-C High Speed ​​Braided Data Cable, designed for fast data transfer thanks to USB 3.1 Gen 2 compatibility.

The cable is well-suited for tasks like screen casting, supporting lossless 4K video, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also supports up to 100W power and supports PD 3.0 protocol, so you can charge all compatible devices with it. The cable costs RMB 39 (~$5) and is available in Dark Grey, Galaxy Grey, Dark Red and Misty Purple, the same colors as the Xiaomi SU7.
