ASUS Zenfone 10 passed the endurance test

ASUS Zenfone 11 It was introduced worldwide earlier this month. The Taiwanese brand has moved away from its compact flagship Zenfone 10 with its latest product. Unless it’s a standard iPhone, not many Android OEMs offer a compact device with the highest specs. So Zenfone 10 remains your only option. If you’re considering buying one, popular YouTuber JerryRigEverything (aka Zach Nelson) put the smartphone through an intense durability test.

ASUS Zenfone 10 passed the endurance test

The ASUS Zenfone 10 screen is equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus. It is scratched at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deeper pits at level 7. The device has an aluminum frame all around and may get scratched during the scratch test. The back panel of the Zenfone 10 is made of rubber-textured plastic that provides a good grip. However, it can be easily scratched with sharp objects.

During the burn test, the Zenfone 10’s screen could withstand flames for about 30 seconds before becoming dead pixels. The YouTuber says the damage is irreversible. Side fingerprint scanner slows down after receiving additional scratches.

During the bending test, ASUS Zenfone 10 withstood impacts. But we could see some bending when bent with too much pressure from either side. This is where the ROG Phone 8 Pro in particular fails because its rear glass panel is completely shattered. Zack adds that the Zenfone 10 may be a candidate for the title of the most repairable smartphone of the year because the plastic back panel is easier to open with a razor.
