Thomas Wang, head of the Redmi brand, announced that the Xiaomi company is preparing for the launch of the flagship series of Redmi Turbo smartphones. Representatives of this family will stand out with increased performance and occupy an intermediate position between the Redmi K and Redmi Note series. The first representative of the series will be called Redmi Turbo 3.

It is quite possible that we are talking about a new smartphone of the brand, previously called Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which will be announced in April, according to insider information. Speaking to users on social media, Thomas Wang announced that the company envisions the Turbo series to include models that will “change the middle class (smartphone) market.”

As predicted by GSMArena.com, the Redmi K series smartphones will continue to play the role of “flagship killers”, the Redmi Turbo series will rank below them with its emphasis on performance, and the Redmi Note series will stand out with its advanced photography capabilities.

Redmi Turbo 3 will be the third in the category of smartphones of the Redmi brand designed to provide high performance at a more affordable price. The first in this category was the Redmi Note 11T Pro smartphone, and later the brand launched the Redmi Note 12 Turbo model.

According to sources, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 3 will appear in the global market under the name Poco F6. It has become a common practice for Xiaomi to launch different variants of smartphones in the same series. For example, the Redmi Note 11 family includes 18 models, and the Redmi Note 12 series – whose features are almost identical – includes 13 variants.
