OnePlus Nord CE 4 is already in the global market. It is similar to the OnePlus Ace 3 launched in China last month but has a few different features. The latest smartphone is the successor to last year’s Nord CE 3. It comes with significant updates, including a new design. The Nord CE 4 is a mid-range offering.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a flat frame with power and volume buttons on the right side and a three-step notification slider on the left side. There is a tablet-shaped camera module on the back panel. The device has an IP54 water and dust protection certificate.
As for the display, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It has FHD+ resolution, downgraded from 1.5K on the Ace 3V. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits maximum brightness and HDR10 certification. The smartphone also comes with the Aquatouch display technology found on the OnePlus 12 premium phones, which means users can use the device with wet hands.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a dual main camera with a 1/1.95-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. 16 MP front camera for selfies. The device can record 4K video at 30 frames per second. The RAW HDR algorithm is said to produce richer and more realistic images.
Under the hood, the global version of OnePlus Nord CE 4 packs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor compared to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 on the Ace 3V. It is equipped with 8 GB RAM and 8 GB virtual RAM. The device is available with 128 GB and 256 GB memory options. The smartphone is powered by a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It comes with Battery Health Engine technology that is claimed to extend charging cycles by up to four years.
In terms of software, OnePlus Nord CE 4 comes with OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. It is confirmed to receive operating system updates for two years. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C port, GPS and more.
In India, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 starts at Rs 24,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 26,999. Dark Chrome and Celedon Marble options are available. The smartphone will be available on Amazon, the brand’s online and offline stores, and retail partners from April 4. On April 4, shoppers will be eligible to get free Nord Buds 2r worth Rs 2,199. Starting April 5, there is an instant bank discount of Rs 1,500 and a foreign exchange bonus of Rs 2,500 on purchase of a smartphone.
