Last week, reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @onleaks) posted images of a new Oppo smartphone called the Oppo A3 Pro 5G. Now the brand has officially announced the launch date of the A3 Pro 5G in China and also revealed the design and color options.

Oppo, via its official Weibo account, announced that the upcoming Oppo A3 Pro smartphone will be launched in China on August 12 at 14:30 local time. Ahead of the A3 Pro, Redmi will launch the Redmi Turbo 3 on April 10, while Oppo’s sub-brand Realme will launch the GT Neo 6 SE smartphone on April 11.

The brand also announced three color options for the Oppo A3 Pro: Sky Blue, Yun Jin Powder (Rose) and Mountain Blue. Looking at the design, the Azure color variant will have a glass coating, while the Yun Jin Powder (Rose) and Mountain Blue color variants will have vegan leather on the back.

Although the technical specifications of the new device are still limited, we know that the device will have dimensions of 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm and a 6.7-inch screen.
