Redmi is gearing up for a launch event in China tomorrow, where the brand will unveil the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone as well as the Redmi Pad Pro tablet. The brand has already confirmed many hardware details of these devices, and now details of two interesting software features have also emerged.

The first of these is Air Gestures, which is a first on Redmi phones and allows users to control their devices without touching the screen. This innovative feature promises to make using the smartphone remotely more convenient, for example, when using it for vlogs or group photos/videos.

The second interesting feature is AI Magic Elimination Pro, an artificial intelligence-based photo editing tool that automatically removes unwanted elements from images. It works almost like the Magic Eraser on Google Pixel smartphones, and since it uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, these edits are faster and more accurate.

Hardware features of Turbo 3 include a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will come with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.

For photography, it may have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro lens.
