Motorola has shared a new teaser for its mid-range G series smartphone, Moto G64 5G, which is scheduled to be launched in India next week. But ahead of its official launch, the latest teaser has revealed the key specifications and features of the device.

The brand has confirmed that the G64 will be launched in India on April 16, 2024, the same date as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in Europe. This teaser also added that it will be the world’s first smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC. But that’s not all; Motorola also said that the device has a powerful 6,000mAh battery, which it claims is the best in its segment. This means we can expect it to be a mid-range phone.

According to what we know so far, it will come with 33W fast charging support. On the front, there is a 6.5-inch Full HD + LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, on the back, there is a 50-megapixel primary camera that offers OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The Dimensity 7025 is essentially an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7020 chip, which is also used in the Moto G54.

The new processor will also be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also supports expansion of virtual RAM up to 12 GB. The Moto G64 5G runs Android 14 out of the box. The brand even offers Corning Gorilla Glass with IP52 water and dust protection. The smartphone weighs only 1192 grams and is 8.89 mm thick. For audio, there are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
