HMD Global, the company licensed to produce phones under the Nokia brand, recently updated three of its classic phones for 2024: Nokia 6310, 5310 and 230. These new phones have classic Nokia design but also have some modern features. There are features such as USB-C charging ports that make charging very easy. However, they still only offer 2G connectivity.
The new Nokia 6310 inherits the rugged design of its predecessor, but now features a 1450mAh battery and USB-C port for the most advanced charging needs. It retains the essential features of the original, such as the VGA camera, 2.8-inch LCD screen and dual SIM support, for a simple user experience.
Similarly, the Nokia 230 remains true to its original form but is updated with a new battery and USB-C port. It offers a 2.8-inch TFT display and a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash for easy and reliable phone use.
The 5310 is focused on music and has a larger size to accommodate a larger battery (1450 mAh) and a 2.8-inch LCD screen. The phone is powered by the Mediatek Unisoc 6531F chipset and has a dedicated playback button on the right side and large volume buttons on the left. It has a dual speaker system and built-in FM radio for audio. HMD Global has not yet announced the prices of these phones.
