Features of Avata 2

The new model offers improved image quality thanks to the ultra-wide-angle 12 MP camera with 1/1.3″ sensor, which captures more light and provides extended dynamic range and improved low-light performance.

With a 155-degree viewing angle, users can shoot HDR video up to 4K 60 fps and slow motion video up to 2.7K 120 fps.

The improvements go beyond image quality:

• Avata 2 additionally offers five degrees of gimbal tilt (from -85 degrees to 80 degrees);
• maximum flight time increased to 23 minutes;
• The drone supports PD fast charging and features a new “Two-Way Charging Hub” feature that facilitates power transfer from multiple batteries to optimize performance at critical moments.
• Improved connectivity features include a maximum video transmission distance of up to 13km, 3km more than the original model, with latency as low as 24ms at 1080p 100fps.
• Additionally, the Avata 2 is 28 grams lighter than its predecessor and has a more robust frame that is 16 mm shorter and 32 mm wider.

Avata 2 comes with DJI Goggles 3, which allows users to view live footage from the drone while in flight.

• Goggles 3 can stream live to the DJI Fly app and another device up to 5 meters away.
• Featuring built-in GPS and dual 1080p 700 nits micro OLED displays, Goggles 3 offers an immersive experience as well as an all-in-one mode for viewing your surroundings in flight.

Avata 2 has 46 GB of internal memory that can store up to 90 minutes of video at 1080p 60 frames per second with convenient transfer to smartphones via Wi-Fi.

DJI offers several options for purchasing the Avata 2: combo package that includes the cost of the drone, DJI Goggles 3, and DJI RC Motion 3 remote control 999 dollars.

Adding two extra batteries, a two-way charger and a carrying case increases the price $1199.
