Tipster Max Jambor on X (formerly Twitter) reported that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be released in the second half of 2024. However, it does not mention any details about the tablet. To recall, the first-generation OnePlus Pad was launched in China as OPPO Pad 2, a month after its predecessor’s global launch. It is not yet known whether the OnePlus Pad 2 will be the same.
We have heard rumors about OPPO Pad 3 recently. A reliable tipster from Digital Chat Station has revealed that the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. If this is indeed true, the tablet is a major upgrade over the previous model equipped with an internal Dimensity 9000 processor SoC. The same tipster said last month that OPPO Pad 3 could arrive in the second quarter of this year, that is, between April and June.
We will have to wait to see whether the OnePlus Pad 2 or OPPO Pad 3 will be released first. Since both are expected to be similar, the former is available globally while the latter is available only in the domestic market.
