Samsung is expected to hold its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year in July, and it is said that this event will include foldable phones such as Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, as well as the mysterious Galaxy Ring. The event may also introduce the Galaxy Watch 7 series, which is the sequel to last year’s Watch 6 series.

Ahead of its launch, a new Samsung smartwatch with model number SM-L305U is said to have surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification website.

Although the name of the smartwatch is not confirmed in the list, it is thought to be Galaxy Watch 7. The listing confirms that the wearable will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. This is not a surprising discovery, as Bluetooth 5.3 is the latest commercially available version of the technology, which is also present on the Galaxy Watch 6.

Unfortunately the Bluetooth SIG certification doesn’t reveal anything other than connection details. However, SamMobile reports that the SM-L305U model corresponds to the 40mm LTE version of the Watch 7 for the US market.

More interestingly, the report also claims that the Galaxy Watch 7 could have a storage increase of up to 32 GB, doubling the capacity offered by the previous model. Additionally, rumors last month revealed that the Galaxy Watch 7 series would have three models. The company has only launched two models in the Galaxy Watch series so far, so this is an interesting change in strategy.
