Last year Google It entered the folding phone market by announcing Pixel Fold. There have been various reports that the brand is working on its second generation foldable phone. Rumors tentatively call the device in question the Pixel Fold 2. But a new report AndroidAuthority indicates what the name of the device will be Google Pixel 9 Pro Folding.
Google’s upcoming folding model belongs to the Pixel 9 series
According to the publication, someone from Google has learned that the fourth device of the Pixel 9 series will be revealed. This device is called a folding phone. The report states that Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have the codenames “tokay” and “caiman”.
On the other hand, the code names “Komodo” and “comet” belong to Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The software of this year’s Pixel phones also mentions these names. Reports have stated that the second-generation Pixel foldable, currently rumored to be the Pixel 9 Fold Pro, will feature the Tensor G4 chip. Leaked images of the device showed that its design would be more suitable for the Pixel 9 series.
According to previous reports, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have an 8.02-inch foldable display on the inside and a 6.29-inch display when the cover is open. According to reports, the device will come with 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage and Pixie AI assistant.
