After the recent launch of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 powered Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 gorgeous flagship smartphone in China, the Xiaomi sub-brand is now working on a new performance-oriented device called Redmi K70 Ultra. According to rumors, unlike the Redmi Turbo 3, this new device features MediaTek’s flagship processor.
Now Weibo tipster 上海more has revealed some important details about the device. According to the source, the Redmi K70 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which is an updated version of the Dimensity 9300 launched in November 2023. This new chip is expected to be introduced in the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro, which are said to be launched in China in May.
The report also states that the device will have a 50-megapixel primary camera along with other camera sensors such as ultra-wide and macro cameras. Coming to the display, it is said to have a 1.5K OLED display with a dedicated graphics chip that should deliver good visuals and gaming. The phone is also expected to have 120W fast charging, a metal frame with a glass back, and up to 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage options. It will also have a 5500 mAh battery.
While the K70 Ultra will be available in China, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will target global markets and may have some additional features not available on the K70 Ultra.
