According to someone from Digital Chat Station, Huawei Pura 80 series smartphones will be equipped with the OmniVision OV50X image sensor produced according to 22 nm process standards.

As a reminder, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra uses the Sony IMX989 image sensor produced using a 40 nm process. Using a 22nm process will significantly reduce power consumption when recording high resolution video. As a result, smartphones will be able to work longer with active use of the camera.

Additionally, OmniVision OV50X is also equipped with LOFIC technology. When a smartphone captures a bright scene, the sensor will be able to record more detailed information about the details of the scene.

Huawei Pura 80 series is expected to be released in the first half of next year. Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of Redmi K60 and Xiaomi 14.
