Infinix has confirmed that it will launch the Infinix GT 20 Pro, a mid-range gaming phone, in Malaysia on May 2. The phone is expected to be launched in other markets such as the Middle East and other Asian countries including India in the coming days. On the eve of the launch, official images as well as full technical specifications of the GT 20 Pro were revealed. Here’s a look at what to expect from the smartphone.

Infinix GT 20 Pro images, technical specifications

Infinix GT 20 Pro will be available in three colors: Mecha Silver, Mecha Blue and Mecha Orange. The official teaser of the phone suggests that the C-shaped pattern on the back will feature RGB backlighting.

Infinix GT 20 Pro will be equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD + screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The device will be equipped with Pixelworks X5 Turbo visual processor and dual JBL speakers for an enhanced gaming experience. The device is said to have an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. Its dimensions are approximately 164x75x8.15 mm.

GT 20 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset. It will be available with two RAM options: 8GB and 12GB. Both will have 256 GB of internal memory. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The GT 20 Pro will run on Android 14, which will be layered on Infinix’s XOS 14 interface. There will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front, a 108-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, and a dual 2-megapixel secondary camera on the back.

The price of the Infinix GT 20 Pro in Malaysia is likely to be RM1,299. This is roughly $270 or 22,640 rupees.
