OnePlus North 3 has received a new OxygenOS 14.0.0.510 update. This update, which is available in India, Europe and globally, offers various features designed to improve the user experience.

This update is about integrating the April 2024 security patch as well as adding features that make the user experience smoother and more useful. The first feature added is the new “Partial Screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar that allows users to capture specific areas of the screen. Additionally, the Photos app now supports borderless collages, offering more flexibility in image editing.

OnePlus also added support for volume control for individual apps directly from the volume bar. The update also lets you use a shortcut to activate the flashlight by holding down the volume down button when the screen is off.

A fuzzy search option has been added to the home screen search bar in Drawer mode, allowing users to start a search by typing just the first letter of an app’s name.

The update is initially rolling out to a limited number of devices, with a wider release expected soon. If you haven’t received an OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check for it by going to Settings, then About Device, then OxygenOS, and finally tapping Check for Updates.

Users in India experiencing problems after the update can submit error reports via Google Dialer by dialing *#800#.
