In March, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a lightened version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that was released in October 2023. Many smartphones with 8s Gen 3 chip have already entered the Chinese market, such as Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Redmi Turbo 3 and iQOO Z9 Turbo. It looks like the Realme GT Neo 6 will be the next phone to hit the Chinese market with the 8s Gen 3 chip.
Realme GT Neo 6 chipset, fast charging information
According to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 is the only 8s Gen 3 chip phone with over 100W superfast charging. He added that this combination of a large battery and over 100W fast charging will likely appeal to many users.
While Civi 4 Pro has a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, Redmi Turbo 3 has a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Z9 Turbo has a powerful 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W charging. China’s 3C organization recently certified a Realme phone with model number RMX3852. The device was spotted with a 121W fast charger.
Realme GT Neo 6 is said to be very similar to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 based GT Neo 6 SE that was recently launched in China. So GT Neo 6 is likely to have a 5,500mAh battery and support 121W fast charging.
There is a possibility that the GT Neo 6 will be similar to the SE version in other departments. As a reminder, Realme GT Neo 6 SE offers a 6.78 inch LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 phone comes with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual camera.
