Oleg Horokhovskyi, co-founder of Monobank, reported the malfunction in the program on his Telegram channel.

It is currently unknown when the application will be available again.

Problems in monobank

It is worth noting that this is the fifth failure of a monobank since the beginning of 2024. The previous incident took place in mid-April and similar problems were encountered.

Additionally, monobank is constantly exposed to DDoS attacks from the attacker country. Yes, one of the largest such attacks on a bank took place on January 19th. The company announced that it had carried out the strongest DDoS attack against the bank at that time.

Watch out, scammers!

It should be added that in March Ukrainians were informed about a new fraud scheme of gigantic proportions. The bank’s Telegram customers began receiving messages purporting to be from the monobank, referring to “restrictions on savings in the bank.” To cancel this “restriction”, customers had to answer a call from the bank.

At the time, the Cyber ​​Police emphasized that there was no need to respond to such messages and that it was critical not to provide any personal information to such “employees”.
