Samsung has a new smartphone called Galaxy F55 5G that will be launched in India in the coming days. Following a recent Geekbench observation, TheTechOutlook has now revealed its specifications and pricing.

According to the publication, the Galaxy F55 5G will have three configurations to be launched in India: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. These configurations will be priced at Rs 26,999, Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999 respectively. Additionally, the brand will offer bank discounts on select cards and reduce the price of each configuration by Rs. year 2000.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G has a vegan leather back panel that has successfully passed numerous stringent tests, including extreme temperature, exposure to cosmetics, sunlight and salt spray resistance tests. The device will be available in two colors: Raisin Black and Apricot Crunch.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy F55 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits maximum brightness. Under the hood, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

The device will also have a triple camera system consisting of 50MP, 8MP and 2MP sensors on the back, as well as a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies. It will have features such as improved night shooting and super HDR video. The smartphone will also reportedly be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

For security, Samsung has included Knox Vault and in-display fingerprint sensor. Finally, the report states that the Galaxy F55 5G will receive a four-year operating system update and a five-year security update. Samsung has not given a specific launch date for the Galaxy F55 5G, but since it has already started promotions, we can expect the launch to happen in a few weeks.
