Several reports have claimed that Vivo will launch the Vivo X100s series smartphones in China later this month. A poster that surfaced on Weibo earlier this week revealed the design of the upcoming Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s. Now a new set of images have appeared on Weibo, offering a nice look at the X100’s design.

Real images of Vivo X100s

Vivo X100, launched in November 2023, featured an OLED panel with curved edges. Rumors surrounding the X100s claimed that it would feature a flat display. As seen in the first image, the alleged X100s have a flat screen.

The edges of the Vivo X100s appear to be flat and the round camera continues to maintain its shape. Inside there are three cameras and the Zeiss logo. A vertically positioned LED flash is displayed in the upper right corner of the rear panel.

MediaTek will introduce the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip at the MediaTek Dimensity Developers Conference (MDDC) in China on May 7. The D9300+ will be the overclocked version of the Dimensity 9300 that powers the Vivo X100 and X100.

There are speculations that the company may also announce Vivo X100s Pro apart from Vivo X100s. Both are expected to launch as the first phones based on the Dimensity 9300 Plus. According to reports, the addition of a new chipset and flat display will be the only major upgrades as both the phones are expected to inherit other features of the X100 and X100 Pro. In addition to the X100s duo, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered Vivo X100 Ultra (or X100s Ultra) may be officially introduced along with the X100s and X100s Pro.
