Tipster Digital Chat Station shared information about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, which is expected to be Xiaomi 15 Pro. According to the first prototype, the phone will have a 2K micro-curved screen. He did not disclose the size of the screen, but noted that it would not be much different from its predecessor.

If we talk about the back, the square camera module will be located on the upper left. It is reported that the design of the module has been improved. Inside the module, there will be a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera as well as a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with macro photography capability. It is reported that the main camera will also offer a wider aperture compared to the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Speaking of the processor, the Xiaomi 15 series could be the first series to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Qualcomm’s next flagship chip. It is expected to arrive in early October. Reports claim that the new chip could bring a huge leap in performance over Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Its successor is said to feature custom Qualcomm processor cores with a different layout. The device, which can offer two large cores in addition to six medium cores, will be produced with TSMC’s 3nm technology. According to the consultant, the two larger cores have clock speeds between 3.6 GHz and 4.0 GHz.

There is currently very little information available about the Xiaomi 15 series. From what we know so far, the successor’s main updates could be a new chip, improved fingerprint unlocking, and improved imaging capabilities. From a design perspective, the base Xiaomi 15 can again be equipped with a flat screen similar to the last two generations.
