The sequel of the popular movie is expected OnePlus On The first generation will be released in 2025. This news, which is said to be powered by Open 2’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, is a blow to those hoping for it to be released in 2024.

Details about the 8th Gen 4 itself are scarce and an official announcement is likely to be made later this year (October-November 2024). The first phones with this chip could hit the market as early as December, especially in China. Global launch dates for most Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 devices remain unclear, and it is unknown whether Open 2 falls into this category.
In fact, there is very little concrete information about OnePlus Open 2 at the moment. The lack of detail is likely to continue for some time. In the past, OnePlus has rebranded Oppo’s feature phones for the global market. Following this trend, Open 2 is expected to be a rebranding of the Oppo Find N5, similar to how the original Open mirrored the Oppo Find N3 launched last year.
However, the leaked details may appear to be accurate, especially considering previous rumors that Oppo is delaying the launch of the Find N5 until 2025. Considering Open 2 is expected to be rebranded, it’s no surprise it won’t arrive until 2025.
