earlier today Motorola’s announced Edge 50 Fusion in the Indian market. The Lenovo-owned brand is expected to launch a new G series smartphone soon. The G85 5G was spotted on the European retailer’s website last week. Now it has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and has revealed some hardware specifications. The next offering will appear as a continuation of last year Moto G84 5G.
Moto G85 5G appeared on Geekbench
Moto G85 5G was introduced with a motherboard codenamed “malmo”. The eight-core system consists of six cores with a clock frequency of 2.02 GHz and two cores with a frequency of 2.30 GHz. There is an Adreno 619 GPU and the processor is estimated to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3. The GPU is based on Snapdragon 695 and 480 with different clock speeds.
Moto G85 5G is available with 8 GB RAM. It runs Android 14 out of the box. In single-core and multi-core Geekbench test results, the smartphone scored 939 and 2092 points, respectively. The benchmarking database does not reveal any additional information about the smartphone.
According to the list of retailers, Moto G85 5G may be available with 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage options. Like the previous model, it will cost around 300 euros.
As a reminder, Moto G84 5G has a 6.55 inch FHD + pOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a 50MP OIS primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor and is supported by a 5000mAh battery with 30W charging support.
