The next generation of Samsung’s flagship foldable smartphones may arrive soon. The upcoming devices are Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. But before any official announcement, a new test sighting has revealed the key specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Here are all the details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 visits GeekBench

The South Korean technology giant’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 was spotted on GeekBench with the model number SM-F956U. The letter “U” in the model number could mean that this is the US version of the upcoming foldable phone. When we look at the benchmark results, we see that the device received 1,964 points in the single-core test and 6,619 points in the multi-core test.

It achieved this result thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. This chipset is paired with 12 GB RAM. GeekBench also confirmed that the new foldable phone runs Android 14 out of the box. The previous report also revealed the storage configurations and color options of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The device is expected to come in Dark Blue (Blue), Silver Shadow, Light Pink, and Rendered Black and White variants.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in three memory options: 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. Recently, the battery size of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was also revealed. The smartphone is reportedly powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. It is also likely to offer 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reversible wireless charging.
