So much so that it is possible to buy a smartphone with 16 GB RAM, 1 TB internal storage and 2K+ screen for less than 700 euros.
This is the case of the POCO F6 Pro, but its little brother is not short (and there are very few in childhood). A simple but striking design
Back of POCO F6 | Image: POCO
We start with the aesthetics section. POCO F6 recommends: simple and minimalist designIt has straight beveled but curved edges and corners. There is no camera module, but they are integrated into the case itself. POCO F6 Pro, on the other hand, has a simpler appearance with a camera module that houses three sensors and flash in the upper area. In this sense, it is more reminiscent of traditional POCOs. It is worth noting that they are similar in size, but the POCO F6 Pro is noticeably heavier.
Regarding the screen, both POCO phones offer us 6.67 inch AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but there are differences in resolution. POCO ditches FullHD Mount 1.5K panels In the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro we add a 2K+ panel (3,200 x 1,440 pixels) to which we add a peak brightness that reaches 4,000 nits in the Pro model, which of course we can only benefit from in very special conditions. .

The main differences between both the displays are the resolution, brightness level and PWM Dimming which is the brightness control system. It’s basically a process that reduces screen flicker, and on paper we want this to be the higher the better. However, both devices should offer a more than adequate experience on a daily basis.
These engines don’t stay hungry

If there’s one thing that characterizes POCO in its journey into the world of smartphones, it’s power. The company has always produced the best processors and this time it would be no less. Interestingly, POCO F6 turned out better than POCO F6 Pro, because it is POCO F6 and not its older brother that loads Qualcomm’s latest model, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The other one remained on Snapragon 8 Gen 2. probably because of the price.
While it is true that the processor of POCO F6 is more powerful in raw terms, the truth is that in certain situations, such as long gaming sessions, the differences between one model and the other can be noticeable. Liquid cooling with a vapor chamber will also help in this regard. Needless to say, we’ll be more than adequate with either for WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and home apps.

In terms of RAM and internal storage POCO F6 offers us eight or 12 gigabyte LPPDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. So we have the fastest components available to date. POCO F6 Pro, on the other hand, increases the amount of RAM to 16 GB and the storage space to 16 GB. tera.
All of this is implemented with the 5,000 mAh battery in both models and Xiaomi’s new operating system HyperOS. The differences are in the power of fast charging, which is 90W on the POCO F6 and 120W on the POCO F6 Pro. According to POCO, POCO F6 is fully charged in half an hour, while POCO F6 Pro is fully charged in 19 minutes. There are 90 and 120W chargers in the box, respectively.
If these phones look familiar, there’s a reason: POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro are the international versions of the Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70, respectively.
50 megapixel camera
SMALL F6 Camera | Image: POCO
We’re nearing the end, but not before touching on the cameras. For POCO F6, the company chose the Sony IMX882 sensor. 50 megapixels With OIS/EIS and eight megapixel wide angle. It’s a simple configuration in which the telephoto may be missing, but ultimately it’s all a matter of price. Selfies are handled by a 20 megapixel sensor.
As for the POCO F6 Pro, the company opted for a 50-megapixel sensor, but from OmniVision, not Sony: Light Fusion 800 It also offers OIS. It comes with an eight-megapixel wide-angle, two-megapixel macro and a front sensor for selfies with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
