HMD is reportedly working on several smartphones. These include the Atlas and Skyline, which emerged as a result of recently leaked information about the design and key specifications. Now a third device called HMD Ridge has been leaked by the same user X, aka HMD_MEME, who shared details about the other two devices. The last device is considered a budget offering. Read on to find out all about it.
The HMD Ridge has a similar design to the HMD Atlas, with a rectangular camera island with two sensors and LED flash. On the front, the Ridge has thicker bezels than the Atlas. There is a cutout with a hole aligned in the middle. The back panel of the smartphone is made in a geometric shape and in pink color.
Coming to the key specifications, the HMD Ridge is said to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. It will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The device is expected to have a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
HMD Ridge will reportedly run on a Snapdragon 480+ processor with 5G connectivity support on the inside. It will be available in versions with 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. The device will have 128 GB and 256 GB memory. The smartphone is expected to be supported by a 5,000mAh battery.
It looks like the HMD Ridge will be a toned down version of the Atlas. In addition to Waylay and Xenon, the Finnish brand has two more devices in development called Skyline, Atlas and Ridge. The HMD Skyline is said to be a mid-range 5G, while the Atlas is said to be a US-exclusive device.
