chinese company Honour introduced its first foldable smartphone – Honor Spell V Conversion. It is designed to compete with models such as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Oppo Find N3 Flip and Vivo X Flip. According to Honor, the novelty received the largest external display in its class – a 4-inch LTPO with a frame rate of 120 Hz. You can even play videos.

The foldable phone has a slim profile measuring 7.15 mm when opened and 14.89 mm when folded. A fingerprint scanner is built into the side power button. The internal display of Honor Magic V Flip received a diagonal of 6.8 inches, a resolution of 1.5K (2520×1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device is equipped with stereo speakers.

Other features include dual cameras (50 and 12 MP), 50 MP front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12 GB RAM and up to 1 TB flash memory, 4800 mAh battery with charging support, MagicOS 8 shell taking. Android14 operating system

The Honor Magic V Flip is available in various configurations, starting at $689 for the base 8/256GB variant and $827 for the 12GB/1TB variant. There’s also a limited-edition 16GB/1TB designer edition designed in collaboration with Jimmy Choo, priced at $965. Pre-orders have already started in China and open sales will begin on June 21, 2024.
