Samsung is making headlines again, this time with the Galaxy S24 FE. The Korean giant is working on its next affordable flagship phone, and now we have our first look at the device thanks to a tipster OnLeaks.

From the outside, the device looks very similar to the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. The renders show the phone in black and green colors, with a flat design and three camera rings on the back. The frames are probably made of aluminum because it has antennas on it.

The right side of the middle frame houses the volume rocker and power button, while the bottom contains the SIM card tray, USB-C port, main speaker grille and microphone. The bezels on the front display look slim, though not uniform, and have a slightly thicker chin. The screen is expected to be 6.65 inches in size and be an AMOLED panel.

In terms of performance, the device is likely to use the Exynos 2400 chip, which scored 2047 points in single-core in Geekbench and 6289 points in multi-core tests.

However, benchmarks revealed that the SoC has a slightly lower core Cortex-X4 clock speed of 3.11GHz compared to the standard version’s 3.21GHz. This suggests that Samsung may be using a customized version of the Exynos 2400 for the S24 FE. The software side of things will be handled by OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14 with AI features.

The S24 FE is expected to retain the camera setup of the Galaxy S24 and S23 FE, with a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Both prime and telephoto lenses will support OIS. Battery life and charging features are also expected to remain the same with a 4,500mAh battery, 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
